About UberVisor

We build software for the
people who keep London moving
after the last train has gone.

UberVisor is run by ex-rail engineers, site supervisors and software people who got tired of running shifts on paper. We design for the muster point, not the conference room.

Why we exist

The trackside deserves
better tools than a clipboard.

Most construction software is sold to head office and tolerated by the field. We flipped that. UberVisor is built for the supervisor at 02:00 in the rain — and the planning office gets to benefit too. The field decides what's worth keeping.

Field-led design
Every release ships against feedback from active supervisors. If it doesn't work in PPE with gloves on at 22:00, it doesn't ship.

Safety isn't a tab
SHE alerts, credential expiry and incident reporting aren't bolted-on. They're the platform. The plan and the people share one rail.

Free for operatives
We don't sell software to people in high-vis. Mobile is free for every operative on a UberVisor project, and always will be.

How we got here.

2022
Built on a kitchen table in Walthamstow
Two ex-rail engineers and a software lead, fed up with running Victoria Line blockades on three spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group. First prototype in 11 weeks.

First Wallet prototype, trackside tested
First Wallet prototype trialled with operatives on a real LU upgrade possession. Twenty cards in pockets. The paper-cert era started ending that night.

Wallet shipped, ISO 27001 in progress
Native iOS and Android Wallet went live for operatives. Started the ISO 27001 audit programme. Lookahead opened up as a free product. Certify entered closed beta with two independent training centres.

Certify in private beta · Lookahead opens up free
First training centres start issuing digital certificates with Certify. Lookahead launches as a free product for any registered PM or supervisor. Construction app enters pilot on London rail.

Wallet free for every operative. Lookahead free for every registered PM and supervisor. Certify paid plans open to training centres across the UK. The Construction app continues its London-rail pilot toward general availability later this year.

A small team — under 30 people — split between Walthamstow HQ and the trackside. Most of us have spent at least one weekend running a shift before joining.

I spent six years as a COSS on the Victoria Line before I wrote a line of UberVisor code. The product is shaped by that.
